To better aid in promoting the Fraternal Order of Eagles locally and in increasing awareness of the Eagle's promotions and community contributions, Fahlgren Mortine, the Eagle's marketing and public relations agency, is available to help local aeries/auxiliaries with various promotions prior to events hosted at the aerie/auxiliary. Fahlgren Mortine will help aeries/auxiliaries with events that are open to the community (open houses, fundraisers, town dinners, etc) for no cost to the Aerie or Auxiliary. When an aerie/auxiliary chooses to submit a request for media relations assistance, Fahlgren Mortine will need event and aerie/auxiliary details, including the proper contact person. The details of your event will determine newsworthiness and whether your aerie will receive media relations support for this event. If your event is newsworthy, the details will become a press release and will be sent to media in the area including local radio and television stations and newspapers. The request for media relations form is available here for the local aerie/auxiliary contact to complete and return to Fahlgren Mortine. The contact will need to be able to provide details about the event, background about the aerie/auxiliary, and be able to answer any other questions. Fahlgren Mortine will contact the aerie contact to discuss newsworthiness and/or arrange media relations support. (The request form is also in the forms and documents page) ![]() Wayne Monore Grand Aerie Hall of Fame Member Past Eastern Regional President Past New York State Aerie President Past New York State Aerie Secretary MONROE, Wayne H. (They need a rough idea on how much food to order) Entertainment from 7:30 to Midnight 02.25.2009 I recently received an e-mail about volunteerism, and as an Eagle, it really hit home for me. Susan J. Ellis is President of Energize, Inc., a training, consulting, and publishing firm that specializes in volunteerism. And I quote… "Paul Revere made his living as a silversmith, but he's remembered for what he did as a volunteer." I suspect many of us feel that way about what we do at the Eagles…. There is room for everyone.
