Don't miss Italian Night April 5th!! Raffles!! Great Food!!
Ithaca Eagles
This Friday and Saturday night (April 4th and
5th) a Chinese Auction will be going on at the Ithaca Eagles. All sorts of
items to bid on- coffees, chocolates, candle baskets, just to name a few.
All money raised will go to the Cancer Fund and the Jimmy Durante Children’s
Fund.
Saturday night, from 5:30 to 7:30, we will put on an all you can eat Italian
buffet. Lasagna, chicken cacciatore, meatballs and sausage, red sauce,
alfredo sauce, antipasto bar, white clam sauce and dessert for $12 adults
and $6 for children under 10. The money raised will go to the Dream Factory
of Central New York. This is a memorial for Sally Alario, a member who
passed away a few years ago. She worked on the last Italian Buffet we did.
We hope to see you all there. I can guarantee the food will be great!

02/04/2008 - Glens Falls Anniversary Celebration On Saturday March 01, 2008.
Glens Falls Aerie & Auxiliary will be celebrating another year in
the history of the Order in Glens Falls. Cocktails 6pm to 7pm then dinner.
Menu spiral ham, scalloped potatoes, salad, beverage rolls and vegetable.
The Land Mark Motel is the State Officers headquarters.
01/26/2008 - On May 03 2008 Johnson City Aerie 2644 will be hosting a Joint
Anniversary Aeries 61st & Auxiliary 59th.
Cocktail hour is 4:00PM Dinner is at 5:00 PM Music by Close Enough from
8-12PM

Relations Advocacy
The Eagles have a long and distinguished
history of engaging in government relations advocacy that promotes
government programs and policies that help American families and workers. In
2008, the Eagles will begin a new government relations program focusing on
three important issues:
Improved care for wounded combat veterans
Ensuring the long-term stability of the Social Security system
Working to ensure that every child in America has health insurance
In the next year, all Eagles will be called upon to lend their voice to this
effort by contacting their elected leaders and asking them to take a lead on
these issues. More information will be provided on this initiative in the
